Commercial steroid tape is widely regarded as the benchmark adjuvant after keloid
excision, yet it cannot be sourced in Indonesia. We therefore explored whether a simple hydrocortisone 1% cream sealed beneath a transparent polyurethane dressing could fill that therapeutic gap.
